Hey guys! We’re back this month with a month-long study piece. We’re going to be focusing on WWII and on how in two instances on opposite sides of the world, unspeakable crimes were committed against fellow human beings with little thought from its perpetrators. We’re going to explore how morality can be suspended and thought hijacked and how we can prevent another Holocaust from happening. To do that, we are going to look at Germany and Japan during WWII and also discuss some ways in which our psychology renders us vulnerable to this sort of mass hypnosis. Hopefully, you will begin to recognise the signs of such hatred and intolerance today and not fall prey to the ever-insistent river of fear.
