[Update] On Hiatus and Some Updates

The Outlet team is going through a bit of a rough patch as you can tell from the lack of new content on the website. I’m not sure when we’ll be able to get back to writing and uploading but mid-January seems to be a reasonable estimate. While I can’t speak for the rest of our team, I know myself have three drafts in the work that will need some work before they’re post-ready so rest assured that creative burnout isn’t what we’re suffering from, although we may be suffering from that but just a little. We could have covered Yemen or more recent Trump White House shenanigans or the Dakota Pipeline and lots more but we don’t have enough time to dedicate to researching the topics to give a well-informed response to any of those events so we have opted to remain silent.

However, that doesn’t mean that no articles will be written between now and mid-January. The usual reposts and reblogs will still be made if an interesting topic is found and that’s about all I can promise.

I have mentioned our newest members of the Outlet team before: Megan and Anna. They are undergoing the same difficulties as the rest of the team are going through so y’all might not see them until much later. But rest assured, we’re all still alive and doing well. ^-^

Some of you will have noticed that I have added a new category to the main menu called AP Com Sci A and yes, I will be uploading content from the class. I might do vocab and I might post labs but again, that might have to wait until later when we’re in a better time and place to focus on writing.

Once again, we’re going to go on a hiatus at least until midterms are over with and we can once again stabilise our time. We are all high-achieving students at different stages of our education and school, family and work remain our highest priorities so we must focus on satisfying those demands before freeing our focus to work on this website. I hope we can get this website back on its feet once this rough patch is over and thank you for your continued support.

This is Lieutenant and we’ll see you on the other side.
